‘Lovely…’ That word appeared briefly in Daniella’s mind. The flower that the other woman was holding was not perfect, no… but it held it’s own little charm. Soft crinkles at the corners and tender little bents had added personality to the paper flower.
… Why was she thinking like this? The flower was not perfect, which meant the maid’s teaching was not adequate. She shook the previous thoughts away, mentally cursing at herself for thinking them and promising herself a small punishment when she returned to the trailer.
‘Oh, she’s writing again…’ Her hands stay planted on her lap neatly as she waited for Celty to finish and show her, quickly reading the words once she had done so.
“You are welcome Miss Celty… as for the kiss… it was a dare. My apologies if it troubled you. Or…. is it that the miss would you like me to kiss her again?”
Celty set her paper flower down beside her, stealing another glance at Daniella’s much nicer looking flower. Well, practice makes perfect, after all. And it wasn’t like her flower was awful or anything, either.
Daniella’s question threw her off though, and she didn’t know how to really answer it. She couldn’t actually feel the kiss against her helmet, but she had understood the gesture—and the surprise from it was what had made her react. She had… certainly not expected the maid to kiss her during this little lesson—and so suddenly, then just shifting right back into teaching about flowers after as well. It was all just too confusing to her.
Celty didn’t write anything back for a moment, trying to figure out how to say what she wanted to say to Daniella. After a moment, she started to write. She held the notebook out for the maid to see after she finished.
|It makes sense that it was a dare, of course. I’ve seen lots of people here do things because of dares. But, why would you want to kiss me again? That’s not part of the dare, is it?|
[ Oh. Well, at least they were in the same sector. ] That’s great! At least since we’re not so far away from each other, I can come visit you everyday, right? You know, like, do stuff together, sleeping in the same bed, et cetera ~ [ The surgeon gave a small grin; he wasn’t kidding. Which was why he was bracing himself for when Celty would gutjab him inevitably. ]
Anyway, besides from a bunch of trailers, what else has this place got to offer? It is a circus, right? [ And circuses are interesting! He thinks. ]
Whether or not she actually wanted Shinra to visit her everyday, or sleep in the same bed as her, or… whatever else he had in mind was irrelevant; her fists clenched and she delivered a sharp jab to his stomach for that.
Still, she did hope that he’d visit her once in a while. And she seriously doubted her punch would dissuade him from dropping by anyway.
|There’s an amusement park,| she replied, thinking back to the day she’d spent with… with the alien who ran one of the rides. Her whole form started to tremble at the memory, and her writing hereafter was a bit more messy, since her hand was shaking. |And there’s an alien there so it’s not that great anyway.
anicebigsmile replied to your post:hey…i’ve had the biggest crush on you for awhile! i don’t go on here a lot. but please message me on http://bit.ly/lEyBbi under the username “wishfulthinker”. please don’t get all weird. =)
Don’t respond to it! I got that exact same message too. It’s bad news so avoid it entirely.
//I hadn’t intended to—it seemed like bad news to me too, so yeah. But thank you for the warning~
Celty tilted her head to the side. Now that was interesting; she’d never met anyone like this before. She got the feeling this person wasn’t even living here in the carnival. Was this… a personal account?
Best be friendly to her new follower either way!
Celty waved politely at the strange person. Whatever they were doing here, surely they would be friendly.
“My name is Delic.” It didn’t come as much of a surprise that this woman had mistaken him for the other identical male. In fact, he expected it. Taking into account that she hadn’t used her voice to speak, but a notepad on her cell phone, he exhaled and questioned it. “Can you not speak?” He hoped it wouldn’t be much of a sensitive subject, so he held in a breath of anticipation.
Despite his awaiting eagerly for her reply, he couldn’t help but roll magenta orbs down her frail yet sternly beautiful physique. Her body was all too perfect, he’d wondered why she wore a helmet all of the time. Was she not beautiful in the facial area?
So, his name was Delic. She nodded and scribbled it into the back of her notebook, in case she forgot. She still found it odd that he looked so much like Shizuo, and she wondered if Shizuo knew about this man as well. In fact, she was curious as to how anyone from Ikebukuro would take to meeting Delic—since if people weren’t friends with Shizuo, they tended to fear him. And then there was Izaya… she silently hoped Delic wouldn’t run into trouble with him, if the informant mistook him for his enemy.
Celty tensed slightly as she felt his eyes on her. It was a good thing Shinra wasn’t here—she couldn’t imagine the doctor being comfortable with someone even looking at her like that. Still, if Delic knew what was under her helmet, Celty doubted he would be interested any longer. She wrote her response to his question and held it out for him to read. |No, I can’t.|
Trailers? So, they’re our accomodation, right? [ He wasn’t quite so sure with the fact he was staying with complete strangers in a worn-down trailer, but, he’ll just have to grin and bear with it. ]
I was told I was staying in Trailer A-1. [ A trailer that Celty was NOT staying in. My tears. ]
How about you? [ Shinra wasn’t quite so comfortable with not staying with the Dullahan. It’s been twenty years, after all. ]
Perhaps Celty had hoped against hope that one of her trailermates would miraculously move out just in time for Shinra to be assigned to the same trailer. Of course, that wasn’t the case. She nodded at the mention of his trailer number, and brightened a bit as well—it wasn’t far from her trailer.
|So you’re in Sector 1. I am as well, in Trailer I-1. We won’t be far from each other.| Still too far for the Dullahan’s taste, but what could she do?
The rooms were small, but if they really needed to be together, it wasn’t if they couldn’t go over each others trailers for a night, or anything. Celty had a feeling Shinra might be visiting her a lot more often than she visited him.
